The inspiration for this has been Stickies. Which i have been using for some time. So i built this for my learning few years back.

Now it has Data Freedom, Means your data can be backed up and restored whenever you want. Also you can import data into your Spreadsheet and use it in any other software.

This is not the real Data Freedom the professionals are talking about. This is just my implementation for making this gadget more interesting. The code is opensource and  some neat css and js tricks can be seen.

This gadget idea was the first thing i got when i saw the dom-drag script in DD. I then picked up enough skills to complete this.

I used PSV in data freedom because this i learnt in one of my jobs, they were things like like. VI Editor, Norton Editor, PSV, Informix SQL and AWK. I could not learn much of these. But i think i got the essence. Database and SQL can be a very accomplishing experience.

I am now adding a Help Icon and a Help page for every gadget, i have been fired many times for this deficiency.
