Seagate External Desktop 500-GB Drive

I bought one, it solved my overflowing drive problem. It is simple to use. I just left it connected on usb. So far no problems and no glitch. I moved many programs into this drive. It makes no difference.

Initially i did have a problem, probably unique to my computer. I have fed-back the issue to @seagate.

When i connect it directly to PC USB port, other peripherals did not get detected occasional. When i put it thru a 4 port Belkin USB hub it works fine.

So, a USB hub is a must if you are using a computer made before 2004. It is also better to use a Powered hub if you are experimenting with custom peripherals, like embedded systems.
